This project EC(h)OTONES co-creation: bridging natural and built environment in Java, Indonesia, was developed at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Diponegoro University. It visualises the shifting dynamics and adaptation measures to wicked urban problems in the Semarang-Demak coastal ecotone areas, and employs temporal storytelling using digital interactive platforms. The project produced an Ecotone Time Map, a video, and 3 virtual reality (VR) experiences. In 2025, the run-up year to the Campuses, it ran in parallel to the kick-off and preparing the grounds activities.
