From 11–15 May 2026, the SMUS Asia Campus—hosted by Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok—brought together approximately 25 faculty members, researchers, and graduate students from Thailand, Indonesia, and India as well as a delegation from SMUS Berlin and Mexico, to explore the theme EC(h)OTONING the thick edges of Bangkok. Combining seminars, collaborative discussions, and field-based learning, the Campus examined how contemporary Asian cities are being reshaped by climate change, environmental transformation, infrastructure, and more-than-human relations.
